IBADAN – Youths across Nigeria have been charged to create their future and carve out space for themselves to attain their desired goals and aspirations.
Dr. Olabode Adetoyi gave the charge at the EEI Impact Day organized by the Entrepreneurial Empowerment Initiative, EEI.
According to Dr. Olabode, determination, integrity, and hard work are essential keys to success.
The Initiator of EEI, Dr. Bosade Ogunlana said the pain of seeing what young Nigerians go through in a bid to find greener pastures pushed her to create an avenue to train and empower the youths.
She said it is her way of giving back to society and thank God for her 50th birthday.
According to her, EEI has graduated about 2,000 participants who had been trained in various vocations like Photography, Catering, Event planning, Agribusiness and more.
Dr. Ogunlana appealed to the government to ensure that the right people are put in place to manage and drive empowerment programs to ensure that the right people are captured within the programs.
Some graduands expressed their joy and appreciation for the training.
