LAGOS – Pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, on Monday said South-West governors are only pretending about finding a lasting solution to the insecurity challenges facing the geopolitical zone through security outfit codenamed ‘Operation Amotekun’.
Yinka Odumakin, the National Publicity Secretary of the organization, said the action of the governors is an attempt to give the impression that they are doing something about the security issue.
“They want to be seen to be doing something but they know that the issue is not about bringing some rag-tag men together and say you are doing ‘Amotekun’. It is about the leaders in the South-West, including governors to insist on the autonomy of Nigeria,” he said.
