‘He was always concerned about the welfare of people around him’- Alarape mourns Akala

The Minority Leader of the Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Asimiyu Alarape has described the news of the demise of former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala as unexpected and shocking.

Alarape, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Special Adviser to the late governor on Political Matters, said Akala’s death was a great loss to the APC family as he was going to be sorely missed.

Otunba Alao-Akala died in the early hours of Wednesday 12th January 2022.

Alarape, representing Atiba State Constituency described the late politician as a man who has always been concerned about the welfare of people around him.

The Minority Leader of the 9th Assembly stated further that the APC will go the extra mile to ensure the party is intact and moves strongly towards the 2023 general elections.

Alarape prayed that God will grant the entire family of the late Alao-Akala and the entire citizenry in the state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
