By July, I started a tutorial class for SS2 and SS3 students and I have not stopped till now. I think I’m the only House of Representatives member doing this among the 14 members from Oyo state.
“Concerning my scholarship program, we picked the best students that performed very well in JAMB examination every year. I have two students at the University of Ibadan, one at Obafemi Awolowo University and another one at the First Technical University on full scholarship.
“This program costs millions of naira. The production of thousand copies of Mathematics and English language past questions compendium. We have 50 students from tutorial centers who were picked as beneficiaries of this program. The other forms were given to secondary school students in my constituency, each school sent their 3 best students.
“I urge the students to study very well and make judicious use of this opportunity. They should know exactly what they are doing. If they perform very well, a scholarship is waiting for them if they gain admission to a higher institution. As soon as they enter the higher institution, if they meet up with our criteria, we will place them on scholarship which is 100,000 naira per session. We did that about two weeks ago for those that are already on our scholarship list from the University of Ibadan, and Obafemi Awolowo University.
“Apart from this, I have given scholarships to some students and I will give more. Students who passed JAMB and maintain a GP of 2:1 will get N100,000 annually and I will still try to help them secure Job
