Ibadan – Rt. (Hon.) Asimiyu Alarape, the Minority Leader of Oyo State House of Assembly as part of his commitment to Youth Empowerment and Education development on Thursday, 16th June 2022, presented the cash prize awards to three winners of the “Enimojuogun Essay Competition 2022”.
The Cash prize presentation was coincidentally graced with the presence of other lawmakers like Hon. Adewale Francis Adetunji, representing Oluyole state constituency, Hon. Hakeem Adeshina Adedibu, representing Iwajowa State Constituency, Hon. George Olawunmi Adedeji, representing Ogbomoso North, and Hon. Kazeem Tunde Isiaka, Arole, representing Oyo East/West.
The cash prize of N100,000 was presented to Alli who came 1st in the essay competition by Hon. George Olawunmi Adedeji while Hon. Adewale Francis Adetunji, presented the cash prize of N50,000 to Waliyat who came 2nd. The cash prize of N30,000 was equally presented to Jadesola who came 3rd in the essay competition by Hon. Hakeem Adeshina Adedibu.
Hon. Asimiyu congratulated the 3 winners of the essay competition who were all in attendance for the presentation for their efforts, participation, and brilliant performance in the essay competition.
He used the opportunity to commend all the participants of the essay competition for their great efforts assuring them of training and Youth Empowerment Projects to come.
In his closing remarks, he expressed appreciation to Hon. Adewale Francis Adetunji, Hon. Hakeem Adeshina Adedibu, Hon. George Olawunmi Adedeji, and Hon. Kazeem Tunde Isiaka, Arole for gracing the presentation though it was impromptu.
“This type of initiative is highly commendable. Kudos to Hon.Asimiyu Alarape for the impactful contribution to youth empowerment and education development. This would encourage more students to face their academics with the hope of rewards”, A student union veteran stated.
