Ibadan – As Muslims all over the world celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, an Ibadan-based businessman and politician, Chief Rotimi Ajanaku has congratulated all Muslims across the nation for being alive to celebrate the year 2023 Eid-El-Kabir festival.

While extending his message of hope to all Islamic faithful, Ajanaku commended the spirit of togetherness, oneness, and peaceful coexistence exhibited during the festivity, saying that, it is only in an atmosphere of peace devoid of political, ethnic, and religious acrimony that Nigeria could achieve the desired greatness.

He urged all Ulamas to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir to spread the message of peace and unity, especially at this critical time in Nigeria’s history when different interest groups are clamoring for the disintegration of Nigeria.

In a press statement he personally signed, the House of Representatives candidate of the Accord party representing Ibadan Southwest and Northwest Constituency seized the occasion to celebrate with the economically disadvantaged people of Oyo state, giving succor to the masses, as well as the less privileged.

He implored well-to-do and affluent Nigerians to support the less privileged in the society noting that the festivity is all about Holy sacrifice which can as well be achieved through giving to the needy. He also prayed for all Muslims around the globe and especially in Nigeria.

“May Allah accept your good deeds, forgive your transgressions and sins, and ease the suffering of all people around the globe and Nigeria in particular. And may you enjoy a very happy Eid this year and in the years to come, Amin,” Ajanaku prayed.
