Ibadan – Ibadan Chieftain, Chief Babatunde Soares, the Mogaji Oloyoyo of Idikan Ibadan, has felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Senator Dr. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, as he turns 80.
Soares, a British-trained legal practitioner, and Financial consultant gave the felicitation in a release to celebrate the Monarch’s 80th birthday anniversary in Ibadan.
Chief Soares, also a real estate investor, noted that the celebration is iconic as it pleased God to enthrone the monarch he described as humane and full of kindness.
‘We celebrate our father today because we are grateful to God who has spared him and deemed it fit to keep him till ascended the throne of his fathers. We celebrate 80 years of goodness, kindness, affection, prosperity, and impactful living’, Soares noted.
Soares observed that the leadership traits of Oba Balogun made it possible for him to achieve varying feats at different times in his life while praying that God grant him more fulfilling years on the throne to bring more developments to the ancient city.
He lauded the efforts of the Monarch at ensuring peace within Ibadan and among its people while praying for more knowledge and agility to lead the people for a longer period.
