Ibadan – The Minority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Asimiyu Alarape, has wished Christian faithful in Oyo State, and indeed all Constituents of Atiba state constituency, a pleasant experience as we celebrate this year’s Christmas.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the former Speaker of the Oyo State Assembly representing Atiba state constituency enjoined everyone to celebrate the season by showing love and giving hope which the birth of Jesus brought to mankind.
Alarape pleaded with the good people of the state and his constituency to hold fast hope and continue to pray for Nigeria to overcome it’s numerous challenges and for Oyo State to continue to prosper.
The lawmaker who is contesting for the Atiba state constituency at the State Assembly under the APC reminded electorate to get their PVCs and vote according to their conscience in the coming elections.
‘Its a good thing that we are alive to celebrate 2022 Christmas. A lot has happened around us and we are grateful to be alive. ‘ Alarape said.
‘The birth of Christ which we are celebrating today as a show of God’s love, brought hope to mankind. So let us be an extension of that love wherever we are and be kind to those around.’ the lawmaker added
‘Let us also remember to pray for our nation to get it right in the coming election. I want my people in Atiba to rest assured that more dividends of democracy will get to them after they have voted for me. I am asking my people for their votes once again so we can continue the good works’, he concluded.
