The Hon-Elect representing Odo–Otin State Constituency in the 8th Assembly in Osun state, Hon Adewale Egbedun has bemoaned the recent publications on Social media regarding his personality by those he terms the enemy of progress.
Egbedun in a Press Release personally signed today by him describes the rumour peddlers as “anti-progress” who are in all sense of it challenged by his soaring political status and intimidating credentials.
According to him “I know they are being tormented by my credentials, my personality, charismatic posture and accolades being given to me by the people and my well wishers”.

He states further that “they thought they could stop me, but they are a step late, God has done it, they are intimidated, they are confused, and they would never wake up from their sleep”.
“I have taken the necessary steps required from the legal perspective, I know that they cannot sabotage my efforts and pursuits, they are too small, the birds have flown”.
Hon Egbedun while thanking the people for sending strong , edifying and thought provoking words assured his supporters that the glory that God sets before him shall not elude him and enjoined them not to be prejudice about it.
“Those who wrote the fake news about me thought they could hinder the progress that is on- going in the state by way of causing disaffection between me and those who are my followers and those who love me let me inform them that they would soon bitterly weep”.
“I can assure you that their faces would soon be made public and they would face the music of their actions.”
According to him ‘all they wrote about me are mere figments of their imagination and therefore constrained to strongly debunk and deny the photoshopped allegations and documentations purportedly relating to me and my past business activities. A forensic review of the documents being circulated shows clearly the super–imposition,the wrong dates and false content. I assert that the documents are mere fabrication which never exist which are concorted as a weapon of blackmail by political hackers terrified by the grace and mercy of God in my political career.”
