Ibadan – I felicitate all Muslim Ummah in Ibadan North Federal Constituency and across the world on this year’s occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir festival, an important celebration among all adherents of Islam.
The Eid-el-Kabir is a celebration which marks absolute obedience, confidence and trust in the will of Almighty Allah as witnessed in the incidence with Prophet Ibrahim, where he followed Allah’s sacrificial instruction of his son.
This is a festival that reflects Allah’s utmost love for us even in the most difficult times and circumstances, and even when we pass through tough and challenging phases. It is a constant reminder of why we must never lose hope in the face of overbearing life tests.
As a people, we must continually reference and learn from the incidences that characterizes the Eid-el-Kabir festival, showing resilience, trust, belief and unrestrained love towards ourselves. We must also imbibe the spirit of sharing and free giving in this season and always.
As we celebrate today, it is my prayer that this year’s Eid yield unto us bountiful blessings, limitless joy and exciting moments. Eid Mubarak!
