Ibadan – A member of the House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North East/South East, Rep. Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, on Wednesday, expressed sadness over the passing of one of his colleagues in the Green Chamber, Rep. Akinremi Jagaban.

In a press statement issued to journalists by his Media Office in Ibadan, Agboworin described Akinremi’s death as a huge loss to his party, All Progressive Congress (APC) and the state.

Agboworin, who praised Akinremi’s contributions to the development of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, described the deceased as a friendly, jovial, sociable and forward-looking personality.

The lawmaker extended his condolences to Akinremi’s family, friends, and associates, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss.

“I was shocked this morning to hear the death of a good brother and colleague, Akinremi Jagaban.

“His death really shocked a lot of us and many others who knew him. Jagaban was very jovial and liked to relate with everyone despite political differences. He will be deeply missed.

“I pray that God will grant us the fortitude to bear this great loss,” Agboworin said.
