…as Olatunji becomes 2nd president , ADHSOSA
Ibadan – The Chief Missioner, Ansar-ud-deen society of Nigeria, Oyo State Branch Alh Bashir Elesinmeta has charged the alumni associations of schools on unity and love in the society .
Speaking at the 2025 annual Reunion and inauguration of new executives of , Ansar-ud-Deen High School Old Students Association, ADHSOSA , Liberty road, Oke-Ado, Ibadan. Alh. Elesinmeta advised that the alumni members irrespective of their position should show love to one and other.
The event which witnessed the inauguration of Ridwan Olatunji as the second president of the alumni also witnessed the inauguration of new Board of Trustees of the group.
While he lauded the ADHSOSA for its various interventions in the school, he urged the alumni association to support indigent students in the school.
Adding that alumni members could use their education skills to create a positive change in the society.
“Alumni associations could foster love and unity in the society through various interventions in the society, they could use their education skills to create a positive change in the society “
In his acceptance speech, the newly inducted president of the group Ridwan Olatunji noted that his administration will foster unity, progress, and service to the alma mater and the community
Adding that his administration will inspire a culture of philanthropy, volunteerism, and leadership among alumni members and communities .
Olatunji further stated that his administration will embrace innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.
“Fellow alumni, and honored guests , I stand before you today, humbled and grateful, as we gather to mark the beginning of a new chapter in our alumni association’s journey. I am deeply honored to address you as the newly inaugurated president of our beloved alma mater’s alumni association.
“Together, we will navigate challenges, celebrate achievements, and ensure that our alumni association remains a beacon of excellence and a source of pride for our alma mater. Let us embark on this journey with purpose, passion, and a shared commitment to our alma mater’s continued success.
“ Let us strive to make a meaningful impact, to inspire positive change, and to create a lasting legacy. As we begin this new chapter, I urge every one of you to get involved, to participate actively, and to contribute your unique skills and experiences to our collective growth.
