Ibadan – The lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency, Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin has officially flagged off the construction of 1billion naira road project in Ibadan.
The 3km road project, is part of the lawmaker’s commitment to improving infrastructure in his constituency.
According to the statement by his Media team, the construction of the road will provide a major boost to the local economy, generate jobs and business opportunities for residents.
“The road will improve connectivity within the area, making it easier for people to connect and provide more opportunities for social exchange.
“In conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Bamidele Engineering Services Ltd, the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria project will cover Kajola-Irede Academy to Odinjo Muslim in Ibadan South East Local Government area,” the statement read.
