Ibadan – The Member House Of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/ South-East federal constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun popularly called Agboworin has tasked the new Olubadan Of Ibadanland, Oba Dr. Senator Mohood Olalekan Balogun (Alli Okunmade 11) who has been officially handed over his staff of office to unite the Ibadanland towards contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
Hon. Abass Adigun made the call for unity immediately after the presentation of Staff of office to the new Olubadan Of Ibadanland, Oba (Senator) Mohood Olalekan Balogun as 42nd Olubadan, on Friday, 11th March 2022 of the ancient Mapo Hall in the city of Ibadan.
According to a release signed by his media aide, Ibrahim Aremu, Hon. Abass Adigun who congratulated the new Olubadan Of Ibadan, Oba (Dr.) Moshood Olalekan Balogun described his emergence as a show of the present administration’s determination to uphold equity, justice, and to follow due process and the rule of law.
Hon. Abass Agboworin expressed satisfaction that the present administration under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde has put a stop to the rancor hinged on the leadership of Oba in council adding that this shows the political will of his administration to do what is right always.
The federal lawmaker concluded by paying glowing tribute to the immediate past Olubadan, Late Oba Saliu Adetunji, describing him as a man passionate about Peace and development.
