Oyo ACOMORAN holds ember month safety campaign, inaugurate sub- committees

Ibadan – The Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) Oyo state chapter on Tuesday held its 2023 Ember months campaign in Ibadan the state capital.

The campaign tagged ‘Life after the season’ began with a rally around major parts of the town which kicked off from the Total Garden office of the Association to Gate, Bodija, Ojoo, Moniya, Orita Aperin, Olorunsogo, Mosfala, Challenge, Apata and Eleyele.

At the rally, flyers were distributed to sensitize commuters and riders on the importance of safety on our roads.

The rally ended at the union’s secretariat where the Chairman, Dr Solomon Olugbode reminded members of the commitment of the Association to their well-being and continued support for the Engr Seyi Makinde-led government and its policies.

‘Don’t forget that there is life after the yuletide. Respect your life and those of your passengers. Avoid reckless driving and obey all traffic rules’ Dr Olugbode charged.

‘We must also remember that the registration of our members by the state government is still in course and we must all register’, he concluded.

In attendance were officers of Vehicle Inspection and Mobil Oil.

Also, representatives from ACOMORAN Oyo, Ogbomosho, Ibarapa, and Okeogun graced the occasion.
