In a statement issued by the legal counsel on Saturday to felicitate with
Muslims on the celebration of Eid-il-Fitri on Friday, Raji said Iseyin people must rally support for the successful commencement of academic activities at the college, and part of such effort is to provide comfortable accommodation for the resuming students and the members of staff of the
institution.

our town.

“It is pertinent to note that the resuming students and staffers will need accommodation, it is incumbent upon us not to make this process cumbersome for them by making the rent unaffordable, they are our students and our children as well.

“Their welfare, apart from accommodation, in the area of security, cost of food items and others are also to be put in perspective so as the State government will not regret taking the decision of siting the campus in our community.”

He used the medium to appreciate Oyo State Governor,
Engr. Seyi Makinde for walking his talk on the projected resumption of
students at the College, which he said all indications pointed to the fact that it has come to pass, as the governing council already directed the
institution’s management to commence academic activities in May 2023.

In the same vein, a former Chairman of the Iseyin local government,
Alhaji Saheed Alaran has charged transporters, artisans, and owners of
vacant apartments to apply decorum and a human face to their charges.

Progressive Movement of Oke-Ogun (PROMO) who were at LAUTECH’s
