Ibadan – The Oyo State New Towns and Cities Development Authority on Tuesday during a meeting with newsmen and political analysts in Ibadan said the first 32.2km on the circular road has been opened.
The Executive Adviser to the Governor on the Oyo State New Towns and Cities, Mrs Mofoluke Adebisi, said “The current administration has taken the bull by the horn to ensure the reality of the circular road. That is encapsulated in the fact that the first 32.2km of the circular road spanning from the Oluyole local government along the Lagos Ibadan expressway has been opened. Not just opened but developed.”
According to her, the goal is to open up Oyo State to investment, economic development, to ensure that livelyhood is made easy for the people.
She said the Ilu-Tuntun will be developed immediately after the circular road project. And the agency will be working in other major Town of the state.
