Ibadan – The Director General of the Grassroot Movement for Tinubu (GMT), Ogun State Chapter, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo, has felicitated the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a trailblazer and a symbol of purposeful leadership.
In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Rt. Hon. Banjo, a former Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, extolled Hon. Dabiri-Erewa for her remarkable contributions to national development, both in public service and as a voice of the people during her years in broadcast journalism and as a member of the House of Representatives.
He noted that Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has, over the years, demonstrated uncommon passion, courage, and integrity in advancing the image of Nigeria globally and ensuring that the welfare and rights of Nigerians in the diaspora remain a national priority.
“Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa is indeed a pride to womanhood and an outstanding example of dedication, excellence, and patriotic service. Her commitment to building bridges between Nigeria and her citizens abroad continues to strengthen national unity and foster renewed hope in the Nigerian project,” Banjo stated.
While congratulating her on this special occasion, Rt. Hon. Banjo prayed that God grants her long life in sound health, peace, and wisdom to continue her laudable service to humanity and to the nation at large.
